“I spent months with Conner Russell and his team going through appointments, transferring medical records, and investing a significant amount of emotional energy because I was pursuing TMS treatment after many other treatments had failed. If my history of past mania meant that my insurance would not approve TMS, I wish I had been told that from the very beginning. Instead, I continued with multiple appointments only to find out months later that it wasn’t going to be covered. They have not checked with my insurance they made there own judgement. During this process, I was advised to wean off my lamotrigine, yet no alternative treatment plan or medication was offered. After everything I went through, I was left feeling like I had wasted months of my time and emotional energy for nothing. What hurts the most is the complete lack of support. I came to this clinic looking for help after struggling through multiple failed treatments, and instead I left feeling dismissed, discouraged, and no closer to getting the care I needed. Better communication from the beginning could have prevented months of false hope and allowed me to pursue other options. I understand that insurance companies ultimately make coverage decisions, but if this outcome was foreseeable based on my medical history, it should have been discussed upfront. Patients deserve honest communication so they can make informed decisions about their care. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling unsupported and deeply disappointed. I would not return, and I hope this practice improves its communication and follow-through so future patients don’t have to go through the same experience.”

“I feel the assessment was based on a younger generations perspective and assessed in that manner. It did not include how other generations deal with being able to even talk able this stuff without a shield always up.. there seems to be a lot of systemic age bias in this assessment. I don't feel the assesser had the knowledge of what its like to grow up in my generation or the understanding to assess it properly.”
